Save the Rescheduled Date of the Annual Plenary Meeting and Election of the Executive Board (2026–2029) Notice

Dear Colleagues,
Dear Members of ICOM Bangladesh,

This is to inform you that the Annual Plenary Meeting (APM) of ICOM Bangladesh, along with the Election of the Executive Board for the term of July 2026 – June 2029, has been rescheduled and will now be held on Friday, 24 July 2026, instead of 19 June 2026.

The meeting will be held in-person at Katabon Area in Dhaka. The exact venue, location details, and meeting schedule (start from late afternoon to about 10 pm) will be communicated to all members as soon as possible.

The rescheduling has been made following the request of members from the National Science and Technology Museum, which was formally raised during the Annual Plenary Meeting held on 25 May 2026, and due to being within the directions of the Article 7(b) of the Rules for the ICOM Bangladesh National Committee.

A dinner will be served following the meeting and election. Members are kindly requested to confirm their attendance to the WhatsApp Group of ICOM Bangladesh [if s/he feels easy, s/he can directly inform the Secretary of ICOM Bangladesh at seraj.icombd@gmail.com or his WhatsApp number +8801721 66 39 52].

Members who will be unable to attend the meeting in-person are earnestly requested to inform the Secretary in advance so that he can timely inform of their absence to the Election Committee who will subsequently communicate the approved procedure through which such members may cast their votes for the candidates contesting the election.
